Dr. Avianne P. Bunnell

Dr. Avianne P. Bunnell earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, magna cum laude from the University of Arizona and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina, in Vascular Surgery, Alpha Omega Alpha and Order of Pegasus. She is board certified in vascular surgery and is highly skilled in advanced technologies in vascular care, including carotid stenting for the prevention of strokes, laser therapy for varicose veins, minimally invasive treatments of aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, and peripheral vascular disease, and many other surgical interventions. She is also a Certified Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), meaning that she is certified to read and interpret all vascular ultrasounds. Dr. Bunnell’s passion is providing compassionate and unsurpassed clinical and surgical care. She is a Physician at The Vein and Vascular Institute of Spring Hill and provides world-class vascular care for the Spring Hill, New Port Richey and Tarpon Springs community. Dr. Bunnell is now offering Medical Marijuana Certification for her patients to help alleviate their chronic pain and other qualifying debilitating conditions. Dr. Bunnell has many publications and presentations to her credit. She has been a Finalist for Top Gun Competition, Surgical Skills Competition for Fellows and Residents in Vascular Surgery and received a Resident Teaching Award, from the Medical University of South Carolina, for outstanding efforts in medical student education.
